We're quite ahead when literacy is concerned, 72%, but still not quite there yet. 13% of folks in Indore are under 6 years of age. Way to go kids!

Indore: The city's population grew by more than 0.4 million (4 lakh) in the last decade and has now crossed the 1.9 million mark, according to the new Census report released on Thursday.
According to a provisional 2011 Census report, Indore has a population of 1.97 million up from 1.506 million in 2001.
